Senator Dino Melaye has submitted himself to the police after seven days of siege on his Abuja residence. Melaye, who represents Kogi west senatorial district in the upper chamber, was accused of culpable homicide, an allegation he denied. The police had vowed not to leave Melaye’s residence without arresting him.
