Presidential panel recovers N118m from commercial banks

The Special Presidential Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property (SPIP) says it has recovered about N118 million from two commercial banks in the country. The panel’s Head, Media and Communication, Ms Lucie-Ann Laha made this known in a press statement in Abuja on Tuesday.

Innoson presses contempt charge against GTB’s directors

INNOSON Nigeria Limited has filed a contempt action at the Federal High Court (FHC), Awka, Anambra State, against the managing director of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB), Segun Agbaje, and two others, asking them to show why they should not be committed to prison. The other two are chairman of the bank, Mrs. Osaretin Demuren, and the secretary, Erhi Obededuo.
