Members of the terrorist group, Boko Haram, on Thursday, burned down 73 houses and 28 shops in an attack carried out on three villages in Borno State.
According to Borno state governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, the insurgents have attacked three Local Government Areas; Gubio, Magumeri and Konduga, in the last one week.
The governor went on to say that he has complained to President Buhari about the increased attacks by Boko Haram in the state.
Hajiya Yabawa Kolo, executive chairman of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) did not say if there were any casualties, She, however, confirmed that 73 houses and 28 shops were burnt down in Thursday’s attack.
