Dab a dime-size amount of cleaning solution onto the sponge.
Massage the blender for 60 seconds. Add water and rinse while squeezing the sponge.
Rinse it until the water in your sink runs clear, and then gently roll it on a clean towel to remove moisture. Lay flat to dry.
Both Svay and celebrity esthetician Renée Rouleau recommend cleaning your sponge after each use, especially if you have acne-prone or sensitive skin.
Also cool: Your Beautyblender can be used for other parts of your skincare regimen. “Beautyblenders are great not just for makeup, but for your skincare routine as well,” says Rouleau. “You can use it to apply a moisturizer or serum. Always make sure it is damp before each use and just dab lightly when applying your makeup or skincare products.”
