Manchester United will put everything into signing Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly in the summer, according to reports in Italy.
Jose Mourinho was desperate to sign a centre-back ahead of the 2018/19 campaign but United refused to pay over the odds for the likes of Harry Maguire and Toby Alderweireld.
Koulibaly was also on Mourinho’s radar and Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed earlier this month that the Portuguese launched a £95million bid for the defender before he was sacked.
United remain interested in Koulibaly even after Mourinho’s dismissal with the club already having shipped 32 goals in the Premier League.
